I. Basic Info

Q1: When will the console version launch? Which regions are supported?

A1: The console version will launch on August 25 at 11:00 (PT), covering North America, South America, Europe, Japan, Korea, and HK & MO & TW regions.

Q2: Which console platforms are supported? Are PC/mobile also supported? Is cross-platform play available between console, PC, and mobile?

A2: PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Pro, and Xbox Series X|S are supported. After the console version launches, full cross-platform play will be supported with the already-released PC/mobile versions. Players can add each other as friends, team up, and play together across platforms.

Q3: Is the console version free to play?

A3: Yes. The console version of Once Human, like PC and mobile versions, is free to play, and all game modes content can be experienced for free. Paid features are used to purchase cosmetics, Battle Pass, and other content that does not affect gameplay or fairness. We promise this is not a P2W game.

Q4: Which languages are supported on console?

A4: English, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish, Russian, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese are supported.

Q5: Do I need PS Plus / Xbox Game Pass Core to play?

A5: No, the game itself is free. Users with PS Plus/Xbox Game Pass subscriptions can receive additional platform membership cosmetics rewards.

Q6: Is pre-download or partial download supported? What is the client size?

A6: We will enable pre-download 48 hours in advance (on PS platform, pre-download is only available to users who purchased the pre-order bundle). The PS version client is approximately 80GB, and the XBOX version client is approximately 100GB. Partial downloads are supported.

Q7: Please briefly introduce what type of game Once Human is?

A7: Once Human is a multiplayer open-world survival game. Players can experience exploring, building, securing Deviations, challenging dungeons, and participating in different scenarios and events. The game includes PvE and PvP scenarios, and players can choose different servers and game modes based on their preferences.

II. Account Linking and Data Inheritance

Q8: I have already played on PC/mobile. Will I be able to continue using my original account when the console version launches?

A8: Yes. You can link your console account to your original game account in advance. After linking, you will be able to continue playing with your original account on the console when the console version launches.

Linking Entry:https://www.oncehuman.game/zjzhbd/en/

You can also complete the binding in the PC/mobile game via Settings - Account - Link Account.

Q9: Do new players need to link an account?

A9: It is not mandatory, but we recommend that you link a NetEase account or other third-party account. After linking, your game progress will be linked to your account, making it more convenient to switch between console, PC, and mobile.

Q10: Do players who participated in the console test need to relink their account?

A10: If you did not complete the linking during the test, you can still complete it via the linking page () or in-game through Settings - Account - Link Account.https://www.oncehuman.game/zjzhbd/en/

Q11: Will test server data be carried over to the official server?

A11: Character progress from the console test will not be carried over. Some data will be handled according to the rules in the announcement, including Starchrom, active cosmetics, etc. Relevant announcement link:

After the console version launches, you can claim them via the event interface on the console.

Q12: If there are characters on both accounts, can I still link them?

A12: Please note that if there are characters (game records) on both accounts you intend to link, completing the link means you can only keep the characters on ONE of the accounts, and the characters on the other account will be discarded. To prevent accidental operations, we have set up protection for accounts with characters created more than 30 days ago. If you encounter this situation, please choose another empty account to complete the linking to avoid losing characters.

Q13: Can one account be linked to multiple devices?

A13: Our game accounts are not linked to any device. After linking your account, you are free to choose the device you wish to use to play.

Q14: Can one PSN/Xbox account be linked to multiple game accounts?

A14: No. A single PSN or Xbox account can only be linked to one game account.

Q15: Can I unlink or change the linked account after linking the wrong account?

A15: Yes. However, for account security reasons, PSN and Xbox accounts can only be unlinked after they have been linked for 30 days. If you have special circumstances, please contact in-game customer service, who may require you to provide necessary account verification information. Customer service contact: in-game menu> Feedback & Customer Support > Bug report > Other bugs.

Q16: Can the same account be signed in on console, PC, and mobile at the same time?

A16: No. The same account cannot be signed in on different platforms at the same time. Signing in again will cause the previous device to be logged out.

III. Cross-Platform and Server Rules

Q17: Can PS and Xbox players play together?

A17: Yes. PS and Xbox players can play together.

Q18: Is the content synchronized between the console version and the PC/mobile versions?

A18: After the console version goes live, the overall version content, events, and scenario pacing will remain consistent with PC/mobile. Some features or events may differ by platform; please refer to subsequent announcements and actual in-game displays.

Q19: Can players from different regions play together?

A19: No. To ensure server access speed, servers in different regions are located in different physical data centers, so data cannot be shared between them. For example, players in the North America and the Asia cannot play across regions. Please choose your game region according to your needs.

Q20: I want to play together with my friend. What do I need to do to ensure we enter the same server?

A20: First, make sure you and your close friend are in the same region (you can check this in the upper-right corner of the sign-in interface). Once you have confirmed you are in the same region, you must first clear the beginner stages. When entering the scenario selection interface, select "More Servers" to enter a specific server under a specific scenario (your friend can tell you the server where their character is located via the server name in their character's sign-in information). If the server you want to enter is full, you will need the invitation code provided by your friend to enter. Your friend can invite you to their server via the "Special Invitation Code" under the character namecard after their character signs in.

Q21: How do I quickly exit my current server to play on the same server as my friend?

A21: If your Scenario has not yet reached the rest period, you can exit your current server for free the first time via Scenario - Scenario Description -Scenario Exit, then sign up to go to your close friend's server and play. If your Scenario has already reached the Rest period, simply sign up and go to your close friend's server to play.

Q22: What is a console-exclusive server? Can characters on console-exclusive servers sign in on PC/mobile?

A22: Console-exclusive servers are servers designed for console players. Server names with the “Console” prefix are console-exclusive servers. Only console devices can enter and play on console-exclusive servers. PC/mobile devices can view characters that have already logged into such servers, but cannot enter and play.

Q23: Can I use cosmetics, paid currency, and other content purchased on PC/mobile on console?

A23: After linking your account, account assets such as cosmetics under the same account and same region are generally shared. For the specific scope of availability, please refer to what is actually shown in the game.

IV. Scenario and Season Mechanics

Q24: What is a scenario? What is its relationship with servers?

A24: A scenario is a themed gameplay on a server, and each server belongs to a specific scenario. Different scenarios feature different maps, rules, stories, environmental mechanics, and PvE/PvP experiences, and have scenario stages/phases of varying durations (from a few days to dozens of days). Each stage /phase has specific gameplay objectives. As the stage/phase progresses, the server will unlock more game modes, mechanics, or map regions, bringing a richer gameplay experience. We recommend that beginner players play the Manibus (Novice) scenario to familiarize themselves with the game mechanics and rules, and gradually appreciate the diverse and unique scenario features of Once Human.

Q25: After completing the scenario, what options do I have? Will I lose my progress or supplies?

A25: After the current scenario ends, you can choose where to go next based on your needs:

a. Continue playing on the current scenario server: You can keep playing on the current scenario server. After the current scenario server enters the 14-day rest period, it will be merged into the permanent server for the corresponding scenario. The merge process requires no manual operation from you; the system will complete it automatically. On the permanent server, you will also encounter more players who have also chosen to play long-term.

b. Sign up for a new scenario/server: You can choose a new scenario or server to continue playing through the scenario sign-up system, or sign up with friends to enter the same server via the team sign-up system.

c. Return to Eternaland to rest and regroup: If you don't want to continue playing the current scenario for now, you can exit it for free and return to Eternaland to rest and sort things out until you have a new plan for playing.

All of the above choices are entirely up to you. If you choose to stay on the current server, you won't lose your progress or supplies; if you choose to leave the current server, the relevant supplies will be brought into Eternaland according to the rules.

Q26: If I choose to experience a new scenario, what content can I keep and bring with me?

A26: When you exit the current scenario and choose to play a new one, weapons, armor, materials, medicine, Deviations, and calibration blueprints will be transferred to Eternaland. Energy Links will be converted to Astral Sand at a certain ratio. When playing a new scenario, you can spend Resource Inheritance Points to transfer out the items you need to bring in from Eternaland (done through your backpack); different items have different point costs. The fashions, some character data, most currencies, blueprints, formulas, design layouts, task progress, operation Items, and event items and data that you already own will be directly inherited and retained, with no need to use Resource Inheritance Points. For details, please check Scenario Description - Scenario Sign-Up.

Q27: Do I have to participate immediately when a new scenario or server is launched?

A27: No. You can choose which scenario to participate in and which server to select entirely according to your own wishes. Launching new scenarios/servers will not interfere with your current gameplay at all.

Q28: How do console players sign up for a new scenario?

A28: The sign-up process on console is the same as on PC/mobile. You can enter the scenario sign-up page through the in-game Season/Scenario entrance, or from the Eternaland/Pick Character interface, and choose the scenario and server you want to join.

V. Rewards and Benefits

Q29: What benefits are available after the console version goes live?

A29: After the console version launches, multiple events will be available. By participating in events, players can obtain a variety of cosmetic rewards, including vehicle skins, character actions, weapon stickers, and more. In addition, there are plenty of active cosmetics in the game that can be obtained through gameplay!

Q30: How do I claim rewards from the previous console test?

A30: After the console version launches, players who participated in the console test can claim test rewards through the relevant in-game event interface. If you have not received your rewards, you can contact in-game customer service, or go to the feedback platform to submit an issue:https://www.oncehuman.game/grfkpt/

Q31: If the test console account has already been linked to a PC/mobile account, will that affect reward claiming?

A31: No. The system will determine reward eligibility based on the account's linking history. Since console inherited rewards are usually limited to one claim per account, please confirm which account you want the rewards sent to before claiming.

VI. Console Controls and Experience

Q32: Does it support keyboard and mouse?

A32: Yes.

Q33: Does it support custom key bindings?

A33: Yes.

Q34: Does it support HDR, Quality Mode, or Performance Mode?

A34: Yes.

Q35: Can the controller vibration intensity be adjusted?

A35: Yes.

Q36: How should I submit feedback if I encounter any issues?

A36: You can report bug issues to us in-game via Bug Report (Menu - Bug Report) or by contacting Customer Service. When submitting, we recommend including as much as possible: account information, platform, server, time of occurrence, and screenshots or videos of the issue, so that we can locate the problem more quickly. If you have any suggestions, you can contact us through the feedback platform (https://www.oncehuman.game/grfkpt/).

The above is the complete FAQ for the console version launch. Thank you for your attention and support for the console version of Once Human.
