Dear Metas,

the Once Human Console Open Beta kicks off on June 17 at 7:00 PM PT (pre-download available starting 5:00 PM PT). We've put together this FAQ to help you get ready — check it out before jumping in!

Q: When does the Console Open Beta start and end?

Here's the full timeline:
Pre-download opens: June 17, 5:00 PM PT
Servers go live: June 17, 7:00 PM PT
Test ends: July 9, 12:00 AM PT

Q: What regions are eligible for this test, and how do I download and join the beta?

A: This beta test is open globally, covering North America, South America, Europe, Japan, South Korea, Southeast Asia and HK/Macao/Taiwan.

PlayStation — Search for "Once Human Beta" on the PS Store and download directly. Xbox — Open the Xbox Insider Hub app, navigate to the "Previews" section, search for "Once Human," click "Join," then head to the store page to install. ⚠️ Spots are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. The download channel may close once capacity is reached.

Q: Which consoles are supported?

A: PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Pro, and Xbox Series X|S.

Q: I participated in the previous Closed Beta. Do I need to re-download?

A: If you still have the game installed, you'll receive an update automatically. If you previously deleted it, you'll need to re-download from your game library.

Q: Will there be server queues?

A: To ensure the best experience for all testers, downloads will be limited. Once the user cap is reached, the download channel may close. However, if you've already downloaded the game or added it to your library, you can log in anytime without queuing.

Q: What scenarios/seasons are available in this test?

A: The following scenarios are available:
Novice Scenario
Manibus
Endless Dream
The Way of Winter
RaidZone
Additionally, players in all scenarios except RaidZone can experience Visional Wheel S3: Aberrant Progeny.

Q: Is there a cash shop or any paid content?

A: No. This test contains no paid content whatsoever.

Q: Will my progress carry over to the full release?

A: This is a wipe test — most progress will be reset. However, the following will carry over to the official launch:
✅ All Starchrom earned
✅ All cosmetics/outfits obtained
✅ Up to 6 Deviants collected

Q: What rewards will I receive for participating in the test?

A: As a thank-you for joining the Open Beta, all players who reach Level 20 with any character will receive the following exclusive rewards:

Note: If you only play in the Raid Zone, you will need to accumulate more than 4 hours of playtime to be eligible for the rewards.These rewards will be delivered after the console version officially launches.

Q: Can I play with PC or mobile players?

A: Cross-play with PC/Mobile is not supported during this test. However, PS and Xbox players can play together on the same servers.

Q: How do I link my Xbox/PSN account to my existing PC/Mobile account?

A: After downloading and logging in on console — but before creating a character on the test server — tap the "Account Link" button in the top-right corner to bind your existing account.

Q: What languages are supported?

A: English, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish, Russian, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.

Q: Can I stream or share content from the test?

A: Absolutely — we encourage it! Feel free to stream, clip, and share your experience.

Q: How do I report bugs or submit feedback?

For bugs, use the in-game menu: [Feedback & Customer Support] > [Bug report] > [Other bugs].
For general feedback/suggestions, use: [Feedback & Customer Support] > [Co-Dev Feedback Platform]. Our dev team reviews this.
