Based on the rules outlined in the "Dev Blog | Mod System Overhaul and Compensation Plan" and the "Dev Blog丨Mod Revamp - Follow-up on Frequently Asked Questions ", we distributed the "Shiny Mod Compensation" and "Mod Dust Compensation" after the maintenance update on January 21(PT). Due to complex issues such as log data errors and account binding migrations, a small number of players did not receive compensation emails, encountered incorrect reward quantities, or experienced duplicate claims. We hereby provide a detailed explanation of the situation and the progress of our resolution to all Metas:
1. Missing or Underpaid Compensation: As of January 27(PT), we have completed the redistribution in multiple batches for all affected Metas who missed or received insufficient compensation. All eligible Metas have now received the due Shiny Mod - Selection Crates and the corresponding amount of Mod Dust. If you still have not received your compensation, please submit feedback through customer support, and we will address it as soon as possible.
2. Losses Due to Opening Multiple Selection Crates at once or Selecting ≥2 Identical Shiny Mods: Due to an imperfect mechanism in the Shiny Mod - Selection Crates, selecting the same Shiny Mod multiple times in a single batch opening would only grant one copy, resulting in losses. We fixed this issue on January 27(PT) and redistributed the missing Shiny Mods on January 28(PT).
We sincerely apologize for the unnecessary confusion and concerns caused to some Metas during this compensation distribution process.
To prevent similar issues from recurring, we will implement the following measures:
1. Optimize the monitoring mechanism for compensation distribution by adding small-scale verification before full rollout.
2. Improve uniqueness validation in the redistribution process to prevent duplicate distributions.
