In the Version 2.2.2 update released on November 26 (PT), we expanded the range of construction settings for custom servers to offer a more unrestricted building experience. After multiple days of silent testing and stability checks, we are excited to announce that the new settings are now officially available!
We've added several new construction settings that allow you to override the existing constraints and unleash your creativity:
1. Allow Building Overlap: When enabled, structures can overlap, allowing you to create unique architectural forms and complex geometrical structures.
2. Allow Floating Foundation: When enabled, foundations no longer need to be placed on the ground, allowing you to build your very own castle in the sky.
3. Allow Building in Restricted Areas: When enabled, you can build in previously restricted areas such as roads and strongholds, greatly expanding the available construction space.
4. Territory Auto-Packing Settings: The server host can choose to disable or set a custom time limit for automatic territory recalls, making it easier to manage the server's construction situation.
This update also added other custom server features:
1. Death Drop Adjustment: Provides more granular control over the items that drop upon a player character's death. The server host can specify what items are dropped based on rarity or item type.
2. Team Size Limit: When enabled, the server host can limit team sizes to suit the server's gameplay needs.
Custom server leaderboards have been upgraded! To boost competition and challenge, three new leaderboard types are now available: Player Defeat, Deviant Kill, and Highest Dungeon DPS.
