The technical test for Once Human's mobile version will start on September 19 at 20:00 (PDT)!

As this is a technical test, you may encounter bugs or problems while playing. We invite you to report any issues to us, so that we can continue optimizing the game.

The following are frequently asked questions regarding the mobile technical test.

1. Which regions can participate in the technical test?

A: The technical test is open to players in the North America, Europe, Japan, Republic of Korea, and HK/Macao/Taiwan regions.

2. Which platforms will the technical test be available on?

A: This technical test can be run on Android, iOS, and PC (Loading Bay). Players on different platforms will be able to play on the same servers.

3. What game content will be available during the technical test?

A: The technical test will feature the Manibus (Novice) and Evolution's Call (Novice) scenarios. Available content will be the same as the official release, with no extra content added. Furthermore, content such as events and paid content will not be available. The main purpose of the technical test is to evaluate the game experience on mobile devices. Take this into consideration when choosing whether to participate. 

4. What is the format of the mobile technical test? How do I register to participate?

A: This technical test is free to play. All data will be deleted after the test. On September 19 at 20:00 (PDT), a download page for the mobile test client will be opened on Once Human's official website. Players will then be able to download the game and register for the technical test. There is a player cap for the technical test, and registration will close once this cap is reached. You must finish creating a character to secure your place in the technical test, so you are advised to download the game and create a character as soon as possible.

Note: We may adjust the player cap during the test based on the active player population. Stay tuned for any future official announcements.

5. What devices are supported for the technical test?

A: Refer to the Technical Test Device Whitelist/Blacklist for the list of supported devices.

Note: Although the range of supported devices has been expanded for this test, you may still encounter compatibility issues such as crashes and overheating. You can report any such problems to us on our Discord server. If your device is supported but you are unable to open the game, please report it to us so we can deal with the issue as soon as possible.

6. Where can I download the installer for the technical test?

A: The download link will be available when the test begins on September 19 at 20:00 (PDT).

Note: Clients from previous mobile technical tests cannot be updated to the version for this test. Please fully uninstall the old version before installing this one.

7. Can I participate in this technical test on PC?

A: Yes, you can. Once Human is a multi-platform game, and we care a lot about its cross-play experience. Hence, to test cross-compatibility between the PC and mobile versions, a separate PC test client will be available for this technical test. Data from this test (whether mobile or PC), including characters and servers, will not be synchronized with data on the official release. An important thing to note is that you must use the mobile test client to secure your place in the technical test before logging in on the PC test client, as follows:

After registering a test account on the mobile test client, log in to Loading Bay, then search for "Once Human Test." You can then enter the mobile technical test and start playing.

8. What languages are supported during this test?

A: The available in-game languages are English, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, German, and French. You can change the language in the in-game settings.

9. Is there controller support?

A: The mobile test client does not support controllers for this technical test. However, the PC test client has controller support.

10. Are both PvE and PvP available during this test?

A: Due to scale restrictions, only PvE servers will be available in the Japan, Republic of Korea, and HK&MO&TW regions for this test. Both PvE and PvP servers will be available in the North America and Europe regions.
