Fair Play Announcement (September 5, 2026 – September 10, 2026)

09/16/2026 • Fair Play Announcement (September 5, 2026 – September 10, 2026)

Dear Metas,

From September 5 to September 10, Once Human banned a total of 171 players. Among them, 91 players were publicly penalized for using cheats, and 29 players were punished for maliciously affecting other players.

Because the AI model is still being updated, backend monitoring data shows there is still a slight chance of false bans being triggered. If you have any questions or concerns about a penalty, please submit an appeal through the in-game appeal screen. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Recently, based on Player Feedback and backend data monitoring, we discovered that some Accounts have used automated scripts/third-party assistance tools to farm specific resources at high frequency in the game. Such behavior severely disrupts the game's economic Balance and the fairness of Game Mode challenges, harming the game experience of the majority of legitimate Players. We have imposed Suspend penalties and warnings on Accounts with particularly severe violations, and will continue to advance Detection and penalty mechanisms for such script-based resource farming violations going forward. A fair game environment requires our joint efforts to protect it. Thank you to the vast majority of Metas for your ongoing Understanding and Support.

Additionally, behaviors such as maliciously exploiting bugs, taking advantage of game vulnerabilities, and maliciously affecting Others' games also undermine the fairness of the game environment and harm the normal experience of other Players. We will impose penalties for such issues based on the severity of the violation, and if repeated violations are confirmed, the penalty severity will be Upgraded.

If you encounter any violations or believe your account has been wrongly banned, please reach out through our official customer service channels to submit an appeal or provide feedback.

Reporting Violations: Please submit relevant evidence of violations through the in-game reporting system, official customer service, or the feedback platform.

Wrongful Bans: Please submit a review request through the official appeal channel. We commit to responding within 24 hours and upgrading our wrongful ban compensation plan.

Finally, during this period, a total of 103 compensation grants have been issued to 72 players under the cheat damage compensation mechanism. The current scope of compensation cannot yet cover all situations. If you have encountered cheating but did not receive compensation, we sincerely apologize. This does not mean your experience has been overlooked — it reflects current limitations in our detection and coverage mechanisms. If you have any compensation-related concerns, please submit feedback via official customer service, including details such as match information, specific time, and the impact you experienced. Every piece of feedback you provide is crucial for us to improve our compensation algorithms and expand protection coverage.

Below is a list of players recently penalized for severe violations. The accounts listed have been reviewed and confirmed to be in violation. If you have any questions, please contact in-game customer service.

1. Language violations

From September 5 to September 10, a total of 237 penalties were issued for language violations:

30 days — 6 cases

7 days — 24 cases

1 day — 150 cases

2 hours — 57 cases

(Due to space limitations, we do not provide the list of players banned for speech violations.)

We've been paying close attention to feedback regarding the chat restriction system and have launched a focused optimization effort. Improvements include upgraded smart filtering to reduce false positives and better manual review processes for more accurate judgment. We'll continue refining this system to make communication smoother.

This world is brought to life by your interactions—whether you're sharing highlights or fighting alongside friends, every sincere exchange brings warmth to the game. We hope everyone uses kind words to build meaningful memories and protect the beauty of the world of Nalcott together.

2. Use of cheats or hacks

We will identify the characteristics of newly discovered cheats and use them for retroactive investigations. After banning an account, we will check if it has any associated "alt" accounts and ban those as well.

The following is the list of players penalized for using cheats or hacks from September 5 to September 10:

3. Malicious exploitation of game mechanics to disrupt others (e.g., blocking roads with vehicles, intentional interference, obstructive building placement, etc.)

We take a firm stance against behaviors that disrupt others' gaming experiences. If you come across such behavior, please report it via the in-game reporting system or to customer support.

Going forward, any verified malicious behavior that disrupts gameplay will result in immediate bans. We encourage all Meta-Humans to play responsibly and help us maintain a fair and enjoyable gaming environment.

Below is the list of players penalized for maliciously exploiting game mechanics from September 5 to September 10. Due to space limitations, only ban records are displayed:
