01/23/2026 DevBlog | FAQ on the New Mod System

Dear Metas,

Since the launch of the new Mod System on January 21 (PT), we’ve received extensive player feedback. We sincerely appreciate the passionate attention and active participation from all Metas. Meanwhile, we’ve compiled a list of key concerns raised by the community. To help Metas better understand the new Mod System, this Dev Blog addresses these frequently asked questions in detail.

Q1: I’ve maxed out my Mods, so why haven’t I received the Mod compensation mail?

A: Due to the large volume of Mod compensations, the mails are being sent out in batches. We will complete all distributions within 3 business days. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

Q2: How do I obtain Shiny Mods?

A: If you already own a Level 17 A Mod, obtaining another Level 17 A Mod has a chance to transform it into a Shiny Mod.

Q3: Does the Shiny Mod compensation exclude Mask slots?

A: Currently, only Weapon slot Shiny Mods are available. Other slots will be introduced in future updates. Stay tuned!

Q4: Do identical Shiny Mods share the same attributes?

A: Yes, identical Shiny Mods share the same Shiny effect and primary attribute.

Q5: How do I upgrade the new Level 14 Mods to Level 17?

 A:

Master and higher difficulties have an extremely low chance to drop Level 17 Mod Selectable Crates directly.

 1. Higher-difficulty dungeons drop higher-level Mod Crates, which contain higher-level new Mods. The specific difficulty-to-Mod-level relationship is shown in the chart above. Master and higher difficulties have an extremely low chance to drop Level 17 Mod Select Crates directly.

 2. You can exchange Mod Dust for higher-level Mod Crates in the Mod Shop.

Q6: If I obtain a Shiny Mod in a PvE Scenario, do I need to obtain it again in a PvP Scenario to refresh its secondary attributes?

A: No, the Mod Field Guide is shared across all characters under the same account, and the Field Guide for both PvE and PvP are identical. You can activate them as needed based on different game scenarios.

Q7: Will Mod Dust disappear if I transfer servers?

A: No, Mod Dust is shared across all characters under the same account.

Q8: When does the Mod Shop refresh?

 A: Weekly.
