Territory Purification Guide

05/22/2024 Territory Purification Guide

Territory Purification involves using a Stardust Resonant Filter to purify the Eclipse Cortex and Chaotic Cortex obtained from PvE and PvP content into Starchrom.

This process is the primary method for acquiring Starchrom. Both Eclipse Cortex and Chaotic Cortex have a shared limit of 40 purifications per week, allowing you to purify as many and as high levels as needed within this limit.

1. Territory Purification

Place a Stardust Resonant Filter in your territory to gain access to the Territory Purification feature. You can find the filter in the building catalog's facilities section without the need to unlock a memetic node.

Once the filter is in place, deposit Echo Stones into it to begin the purification process. Basic information about the process, such as difficulty, duration, capacity, and Starchrom yield, will be displayed on the right.

During the purification process, hordes of Deviants will swarm your settlement. Protect the Stardust Resonant Filter until the timer reaches zero to complete the purification and receive Starchrom as a reward.

Note: If purifying the Chaotic Cortex (PvP), your territory will enter a Chaotic State, allowing other Meta-Humans to attack your buildings. Deviants will continue to spawn until the purification is complete, and Meta-Humans entering your territory will enter PvP mode after 5 seconds.

2. How to Obtain Echo Stones

Acquire Echo Stones from PvE

Low-level Echo Stones can be obtained by exploring the overworld and clearing dungeons. High-level Echo Stones can be obtained by unlocking the formula for the Synthesis Bench and combining low-level Echo Stones.

Acquire Echo Stones from PvP

Echo Stone events

Echo Stone events occur when the season enters the "Rising Rivalry" phase. Chaotic Cortex will drop from 8 AM to 11 PM, with a Chaotic Cortex event occurring every hour on a random route.

An icon and countdown will appear on the map before the Chaotic Cortex event begins. Once the countdown reaches zero, the Chaotic Cortex will drop to the ground for 20 minutes.

Anyone can pick up the Chaotic Cortex, automatically putting them in PvP mode until the Chaotic Cortex is dropped or purified. If the holder is killed, teleports, or logs out, the Chaotic Cortex will become available for anyone to pick up.
