Settlements are scattered across the World Map and come in various sizes.
What is a Settlement?
When tapping on a settlement in the World Map, you can view its name, recommended level, exploration objectives, available resources, and more. For example, the settlement shown in the image below is the Overlook Town.
Settlement Exploration Objective
When entering a settlement, its objectives will appear in the upper left corner of the screen.
Weapon Crates & Mysterious Treasures
Use [Spacetime] to locate treasures and crates nearby. Mysterious Treasures, Weapon Crates, and Gear Crates within the vicinity will be marked.
Each settlement contains multiple Weapon and Gear Crates, but only one Mysterious Treasure, which can be obtained once and contains Blueprint Fragments for Weapons or Armor.
Activating Rift Anchor
After completing the exploration objectives, you must activate the Rift Anchor in the area to receive rewards. Locate the Rift Anchor on the map to activate it.
Once you complete the exploration objectives of a settlement, it will be marked as completed for easy reference.
