Greetings!

Once Human will be undergoing maintenance on all servers on April 24, 2024, from 17:00 to 19:00 PDT. Please plan your game time accordingly. We appreciate your patience and understanding during the maintenance.

In this update, we will be introducing a new beginner's Script and making various balance adjustments to certain Genres. Below are the details for this maintenance. If you have any questions or encounter any issues, please let us know via the Feedback Channel.

 

SOC (Survival/Open-World/Crafting) Gameplay Optimization

1. Players from the same Hive can now teleport to each other's territory.

2. Removed the fuel consumption requirements for the Floor Lamp, Wall Lamp, and Chandelier, which means they can now provide lighting without fuel.

3. Optimized the Chainsaw and Drill. They can now play sound effects without interruption.

4. Removed the fuel consumption for Mobile Territory while not on the move.

5. Space Twister now supports teleporting to the initiator across worlds.

6. Increased the probability of obtaining Grumpy Bulb through farming.

7. Increased the seed drop when collecting Mushrooms and Scarlet Calamus.

8. Adjusted the description of acquiring recipes in the Memetics interface.

 

Events & Services

We're extending the Login Bonus and Treasure Hunt events until the end of the CBT3. This extension provides newcomers who missed out on the opportunity to participate.

 

Combat Optimization

1. Optimized the experience of using Adrenaline Shots by reducing the character's stiffness duration when used.

2. Reduced the weapon/item switching time and minimized the differences in switching time between different types of weapons.

3. Optimized the character's performance during backstabbing.

4. Improved the sense of impact in melee combat.

5. Added special actions for melee combat against small units.

6. Adjusted the handling of all melee weapons.

7. Improved the feedback when killing humanoid monsters in melee combat.

8. Reduced the attack speed penalty when overweight.

9. Optimized the attack speed of Recurve Bow.

10. Optimized the default size of Stickers on Handguns.

 

Gameplay Optimization

[Cargo Scuffle] has been optimized. Weapon and Armor Durability will no longer deplete in this mode.

[Stronghold Conquest]

15 minutes before Stronghold Conquest begins, the offensive side will be cleared out of the Stronghold, and only the defensive side can enter.

 

Combat Stats/Genre Adjustments

1. Keyword - Fast Gunner: While Fast Gunner is active, Weapon DMG +5% → DMG +5%.

2. Weapon - Memento: Hitting a weak spot has a 40% chance to activate Fast Gunner → Hitting an enemy has a 36% chance to activate Fast Gunner, and the chance doubles when hitting a weak spot. Each shot has a 30% chance to consume an extra bullet, and when consuming extra bullets, DMG +100% → Each shot has a 40% chance to consume an extra bullet, and when consuming extra bullets, DMG +80%.

3. Weapon - Doombringer:

Hitting a target with every ammo in the clip has a 60% chance to activate the Bull's Eye → Hitting a target has a 50% chance to activate the Bull's Eye

Defeating a marked target, Weapon DMG +6% → Defeating a marked target, DMG +6%. When HP and Stamina are above 50%, gain 30% DMG Bonus; otherwise, gain 30% Damage Reduction → After triggering Bull's Eye, gain 5% Damage Reduction for 6s, and can stack up to 4 stacks.

4. Weapon - Outer Space: After defeating an enemy, Power Surge Chance Bonus +30% for 3s → After defeating an enemy, Power Surge Chance Bonus +50% for 6s. Power Surge DMG -40% → Power Surge DMG -30%.

5. Weapon - Little Jaws: Magazine -6, the first hit after reloading activates Unstable Bomber → Activates Unstable Bomber after 15 hits.

Unstable Bomber Delay +0.8s → Unstable Bomber Delay +0.3s

Unstable Bomber DMG -48%, but each hit increases DMG by 4%, up to 48% → Each hit with Unstable Bomber increases the Unstable Bomber DMG by 5%, doubling when hitting a weak spot.

6. Armor - Desert Dust Mask: When activating Fast Gunner's reloading effect, there is a 50% chance to reload an extra bullet → When activating Fast Gunner's reloading effect, there is an 80% chance to reload an extra bullet.

7. Armor - Explosive Front Tops: Unstable Bomber Delay +0.6s → Unstable Bomber Delay +0.3s.

8. Mod - Thunderclap: Storm DMG +200% → Storm DMG +250%.

9. Mod - Shooting Amplifier: Each stack of Fast Gunner increases Weapon DMG by 5% → Each stack of Fast Gunner increases DMG by 5%.

10. Every 10 times the Unstable Bomber is hit before exploding, the final damage increases by 50% → Every 5 times the Unstable Bomber is hit before exploding, the final damage increases by 20%

 

To improve the itemization experience for Weapon and Mask Mods, we have made some changes. Elemental DMG and Status DMG will no longer be included in the random attributes of Weapon Mods. Instead, the weight of Elemental DMG and Status DMG in the random attributes of Status DMG mods has been increased.

 

Dungeon Optimization

1. Reduced Laser DMG of Haloed Patroller in the Securement Silo.

2. Added the Challenge Again feature to the Dungeon Reward Settlement interface, which can be initiated by the leader.

3. Added progress saving function to [LEA Research Lab]. Progress will be saved upon leaving the dungeon.

4. Added explanation for obtaining Starlight, which can be viewed in the top right corner of the Wish Machine reward selection interface and in the description of Starlight.

5. Increased drop rate of certain Mod Parts in Master Difficulty LEA Research Lab and Mensdevoran.

 

Overworld Optimization

1. Optimized the Routing and Tracking features in the Overworld. Navigation will be canceled when approaching the destination.

2. Adjusted the judgment for defeated enemies in Settlements.

3. Adjusted the recommended level for "He Was Here" to Lv.50.

4. Added entrance animation for Monolith - Rabizex.

5. Mysterious Painting in Riddle Spot will be destroyed after picking up the chest to free up inventory space.

6. Adjusted the maximum distance of the camera.

7. Added a batch of new stickers for photos.

8. Removed the PVE Season Objective "Revive a teammate using Deviant ability."

9. Changed Season Objective "Leave a message in the Monolith of Folly" to "Leave a message in the Forsaken Monolith."

 

Interactive Experience Optimization

1. Optimized the behavior when collecting while auto-running. Running will be interrupted to start collecting.

2. Optimized the interactive experience with beds. You can now interrupt the lying-down animation at any time.

3. Improved the camera distance settings, allowing for adjustment of the camera distance over a wider range.

4. Split the Single-burst Fire Mode, Sniper, and Crossbow firing modes for the [Mobile] version, allowing players to choose between firing modes when pressing and releasing the button.

 

Bug Fixes

1. Fixed an issue where Rebecca's performance while playing an instrument was abnormal.

2. Fixed an issue where the response time for the Deviant securement was delayed.

3. Fixed an issue where Combat-type Deviants were not able to recover Deviant Power.

4. Fixed an issue where removing territories after merging worlds would cause item loss.

5. Fixed an issue where moving an Electric Eel-attached Motor would cause a temporary loss of Memetic Power bonus.

6. Fixed an issue where victory rewards were lost during Territory Purification when pulled into the Mist.

7. Fixed an issue where weekly purification limits were not refreshing.

8. Fixed an issue where Workshop Defense would not allow entry into the GVG area when open.

9. Fixed an issue where Sunshine Farm facilities would disappear after collision and unable to be interacted with.

10. Fixed an issue where the yellow marker did not disappear after completing the "In the Tall Grass" dungeon.

11. Fixed an issue where Stardust Crystals dropped by Disciples would explode when damaged.

12. Fixed an issue where some routes were not recognized by navigation.

13. Fixed an issue with abnormal Public Crisis Event icons.

14. Fixed an issue where the rewards for activating the Rift Anchor would be missing when the material inventory was full.

15. Fixed an issue with incorrect durability for Canned Glow Mushroom.

16. Fixed an issue where the quantity of items placed in conversion facilities in territories did not match the actual amount.

17. Fixed an issue where Drills could not be dismantled.

18. Fixed an issue where Chainsaws and Drills would cause player arms to distort.

19. Fixed an issue where the Memetic Specialization attribute did not display when items were listed on Vending Machines.

20. Fixed an issue where the notification interface could not be closed in some situations.

21. Fixed collision and floating issues with some railings.

22. Fixed floating and other terrain issues with some rocks and vegetation.

23. Fixed an issue where the Siren could not be killed in the Mist.

24. Fixed an issue where materials were not returned when the Prime War buildings were dismantled in the Public World.

25. Fixed an issue where the ultimate move "Nuclear Bomb" from Ravenous Hunter in the Prime War could not be hit and broken.

26. Fixed an issue where obstacles generated in Cargo Scuffle would be locked on by melee enemies.

27. Fixed an issue where materials were not returned when Warband buildings were dismantled in PVP.

28. Fixed an issue where durability would be depleted when being hit in Cargo Scuffle.

29. Fixed an issue where the Winged Warriors buff would affect non-boss units.

30. Fixed an issue where players could not move after being grabbed by a Treant and exiting T5 Main Story Task Dungeon.

31. Fixed an issue where switching to another handheld item after using a Molotov Cocktail would cause burning damage.

32. Fixed an issue where automatic firing would occur on mobile devices.

33. Fixed an issue where the model would disappear after using Morph Crumbs.

34. Removed the screen shake effect from Unstable Bomber.

35. Fixed abnormal monster placement in some Strongholds.

36. Adjusted the level of some Strongholds.

37. Modified the display names of some monsters.

38. Fixed an issue in PvP where the damage dealt was abnormal when equipping low-level weapons with high-level armor.

 

Mobile Only Bug Fixes

1. Fixed an issue where some treasure chests could not be obtained.

2. Fixed an issue where invisible walls would appear in some locations.

3. Fixed an issue where wires could not be removed.

4. Fixed an issue where Glass Panels would appear differently between different clients.

5. Fixed an issue where the Northern Pike Blueprint could not be obtained in Madeleine's Shop.

6. Fixed an issue where items would display abnormal decimal points.
