Introduction

After analyzing current weapon usage statistics and community feedback, we've found that some weapon builds are not performing as intended, limiting players' strategic options. To promote weapon diversity and fair competition, we will implement the following adjustments.

 

Weapons

We have observed that single-target builds are underperforming, while Critical Pulse and Hazardous Object lack effectiveness in PvP. To improve balance, we will implement phased adjustments to enhance their strength.

Doombringer

30% chance to trigger The Bull's Eye when hitting the enemy. This chance is raised to 80% upon hitting an enemy within 5m.
Defeating a marked enemy grants Attack +6% for 60s, up to 5 stack(s).
After triggering The Bull's Eye, DMG Reduction +5% for 8s, up to 4 stack(s).
Crit Rate +30% when hitting marked enemies.

30% chance to trigger The Bull's Eye on hit; 80% chance when within 8 meters.
After hitting a marked target with all pellets from a single shot, Attack +6% for 15s, up to 5 stacks.
After triggering The Bull's Eye, DMG Reduction +5% for 8s, up to 4 stacks.
When hitting marked enemies, Crit Rate +30%.

Doombringer

Base Reload Speed: 57

Outer Space

25% chance to trigger Power Surge when hitting the enemy.
After defeating an enemy, Power Surge trigger factor +30% (based on weapon's Trigger Chance) for 12s.
After reloading, Power Surge trigger factor +40% (based on weapon's Trigger Chance) for 3s.
Power Surge trigger factor +40% (based on weapon's Trigger Chance).

30% chance to trigger Power Surge on hit.
Upon hitting a target affected by Power Surge 15 times, summon lightning on the target to deal Shock Elemental DMG of 300% Psi Intensity (40% DMG to players).
After reloading, Power Surge trigger factor +40% (based on weapon's trigger chance) for 6s.
Shock Elemental DMG +30%.

Predator

40% chance to trigger Fast Gunner when hitting the enemy.
Whenever Fast Gunner stacks reach a multiple of 5, gain Unlimited Ammo for 0.5s.
Hitting the same target consecutively grants Weapon DMG +2% with each hit, up to 60%. Stacks are halved when the target is changed.
When the remaining bullets are more than 50% of the magazine capacity, Attack +40%.

40% chance to trigger Fast Gunner on hit.
Whenever Fast Gunner stacks reach a multiple of 5, gain Unlimited Ammo for 0.5s.
Weapon DMG +2% with each consecutive hit on the same target, up to 80%. Stacks are halved upon switching targets.
When remaining ammo exceeds 50% of magazine capacity, Attack +60%.

Critical Pulse

Triggers continuous Power Surge on hit, with a 70% chance to generate deviated particles near the player (pick them up to enter a charged state).
Continuous Power Surge can trigger every 0.5s within 3s on the current target. Higher stacks shorten the interval (minimum 0.26s), stacking up to 5 times (dealing 50% DMG to the player).
While in a charged state, hitting a target consumes one charge to create an orb of lightning: dealing Shock Elemental Status DMG of 75% Psi Intensity to targets within 5m every 0.5s. This damage benefits from Power Surge DMG bonuses and has a 5% chance to generate deviated particles lasting for 3s (dealing 50% DMG to the player).
Shock Elemental DMG bonus +30%.

Triggers continuous Power Surge on hit, with a 70% chance to generate deviated particles near you. Pick them up to enter the Charging state.
Continuous Power Surge can trigger every 0.5s within 3s on the current target (40% DMG to players). Higher stacks shorten the interval (minimum 0.26s), stacking up to 5 times.
While in the Charging state, hitting a target consumes one charge to create a lightning orb that deals Shock Elemental Status DMG of 75% Psi Intensity to targets within 5m every 0.5s (25% DMG to players). This damage benefits from Power Surge DMG bonuses and has a 5% chance to generate deviated particles lasting for 3s.
Shock Elemental DMG +30%.

Hazardous Object

Hitting enemies grants a 25% chance to trigger Unstable Bomber.
Reloading Time -40%, and the reload action is replaced by throwing your weapon, consuming all ammo to deal Blast DMG to targets within 3m range equal to 50% + consumed ammo × 18% of Psi Intensity, capping at 480%. The effect benefits from Unstable Bomber's DMG and range bonus, and deals 40% DMG to yourself.
Throwing the weapon grants 75% chance to recover 75% of consumed ammo, 25% chance to recover 25% of consumed ammo.
Unstable Bomber DMG and Range +10% for 10s each time Unstable Bomber deals damage, up to 50%.

25% chance to trigger Unstable Bomber on hit.
Reloading time -40%, and the reload action is replaced by throwing your weapon, expending all ammo to deal Blast DMG of (50% + 18% per ammo expended) Psi Intensity to targets within 3m, capped at 480% (28% DMG to players). This benefits from Unstable Bomber DMG and range bonuses.
Throwing the weapon has a 75% chance to recover 75% of the expended ammo and a 25% chance to recover 25% of the expended ammo.
Every time Unstable Bomber deals DMG, Unstable Bomber DMG and Range +10% for 10s, up to 50%.

*Doombringer is still under testing. The final values will be confirmed after testing is complete.

 

Calibration Blueprints

Reload Speed is currently capped, restricting the effectiveness of Reload Speed attributes in Calibration Blueprints for some playstyles. Hence, we're introducing the new Reload Efficiency attribute.

Reload Speed affects a weapon's base reloading time, while Reload Efficiency affects the final reloading time. You can freely combine these two attributes to achieve faster reloading. Final Reloading Time = Base Reloading Time / (1 + Reload Efficiency Bonus)

Since calibration effects vary by weapon type, we will adjust the calibration values to maintain consistent reloading times before and after this change.

Developer Notes

These adjustments primarily focus on fine-tuning the performance of select single-target and PvP weapons. After the update, we will continue monitoring their effectiveness and usage rates to assess whether further adjustments are necessary in future updates.

We will continue refining single-target weapons to better align with player expectations. Your suggestions for other weapon adjustments have been added to our evaluation queue and will be prioritized for consideration in our next round of balance adjustments. You can share your feedback via Customer Support or the Co-Dev Feedback Platform.

All players will receive blueprint conversion attempts after this update.
