As always, we've been closely monitoring your feedback, and in this episode, we'll be addressing some of the upcoming improvements to Deviations and our social features. Your continued input is greatly appreciated!
[Deviations]
I. Difficulty Finding Desired Deviations
We've heard your concerns regarding the difficulty in locating specific Deviations. To address this, we are developing a guarantee system for Deviations, which will be introduced soon.
II. Option to Switch Between Deviations
While some players have requested the ability to quickly switch between Deviations, we do not plan to allow players to carry multiple Deviations at once. The current system is designed to encourage strategic decision-making by requiring players to consider trade-offs when choosing a Deviation. Enabling multiple Deviations would introduce significant challenges within the game's current structure. We are also aware of the desire to select specific patches of ground for Rain Man's watering ability, and we will consider incorporating this feature in a future update.
III. Placing More Deviations and Securement Units
Currently, players can place up to 20 Deviations in their territory. While we believe this limit should suffice for most players, others will need to make strategic choices about which Deviations to place. We are also planning to introduce unique securement units, with more details to be shared in an upcoming update.
IV. Enhancing Weaker Deviations
Many players have expressed interest in fusing or upgrading weaker Deviations into more powerful ones. This feature is a key component of the game's next stage and is currently in the planning phase. We will keep you updated as our plans develop.
V. Carrying Deviations to the Next Season
We are pleased to confirm that players can already transfer their hard-earned Deviations to the next season. Deviations are moved to Eternaland when the season ends, allowing Metas to carry over some of their Deviations according to Eternaland's rules.
VI. Deviations Pushing Owners off Roofs
We have received reports of Deviations pushing players off roofs due to hitboxes and collision detection. We are working on a fix to rectify this issue.
[Social Features]
I. World Chat Channel and Trade Requests
Many feel that the World Chat channel is overwhelmed with trade requests. We acknowledge this concern. While there have been suggestions to create a dedicated chat channel for trade requests, we believe this may not be an effective solution, as users might still post trade requests in the more popular channels. To address this, we are developing an AI that can filter messages based on individual preferences, such as filtering out trade requests. This should cater to both players who wish to send trade requests and those who prefer not to see them.
II. Displaying Items and Gear Publicly
We recognize that some are interested in showcasing and discussing their gear with others. This is a feature we will consider implementing in the future when our workload permits.
III. Friends Chat Window and Channel Memory
Pressing F1 should open the Friends chat window. If this functionality is not working for you, please report it as a bug. Additionally, we are developing a feature that will remember the most recently used chat channel, which will be included in a future patch.
IV. Teaming Up Across Different Worlds
We acknowledge that it can be inconvenient when teammates are in different Worlds. We are working on optimizing the team-up system to display each Meta's World when forming a team and when recruiting via the World channel or the Workshop.
V. Expanding Social Chat Options
Currently, only allowing friends to chat limits social interactions, as adding a new friend is a lengthy process. We are planning to enable private chats between players regardless of friend status, making it easier to communicate in-game. An official announcement will be made once this functionality is implemented.
VI. Cross-Server Teaming
You may not be aware of it, but the game already supports forming cross-server teams. We will soon improve the guides and tips to better inform players about this feature.
VII. Player Capacity in Warbands and Hives
There are currently no plans to change the player capacity of Warbands and Hives. However, this may be reconsidered in future scenarios, as each scenario will have unique gameplay rules.
VIII. Vehicle Access Permissions
We will be making vehicle access permissions more modular soon. Please let us know if you have any other specific requests.
IX. Vending Machine Access Permissions
At this time, we do not plan to implement shared Vending Machine access permissions. The inability to divide profits fairly if permissions are shared presents a significant challenge.
In our next episode, we will share how we have been optimizing other aspects of the game. As always, we welcome your ideas and thoughts. Thanks for supporting the game!
